Nero Training is an independently-owned, limited company that specialises in delivering outdoor activities, training courses and leadership programmes on the beautiful and natural environment of the Ampleforth Estate near York. Our expertise lies in the design and facilitation of bespoke courses with the emphasis placed on developing skills that will have a direct impact on individuals and teams when back in the workplace. All our programmes are created in-house and delivered through our team of full-time staff or associates.
Nero was established by two friends, Neil Willis and Ronnie Alexander, both former Royal Air Force instructors with over 40 years combined experience in outdoor activities and leadership training and shared passion for experiential learning and development. Neil and Ronnie design all our programmes, taking time to fully understand the required outcomes for your business in order that we can create the most suitable programme for your team. Our Lakeside House venue is now available to accommodate our guests who can enjoy the peace and tranquillity in the woodland, forests and lakes surrounding the Centre. Directions By Road:
The postcode (YO62 4JA) will take you to the road that leads to our Centre. After you have entered Gilling East, take the road signposted Golf Course just outside the Fairfax Arms Public House. Follow this road straight ahead, past the golf course. After about 1 mile you will pass an old farm building and some cottages on your right. Do not turn off this road. Continue straight ahead keeping the forest on your left. You will eventually see a lake on your left through the trees. Continue ahead a little further and you have arrived at Lakeside House. A warm welcome awaits you!
