Miles and miles of rural footpaths and Yorkshire moorland trails lead panoramic views and places of interest. Just a 10 minute drive away the bustling market town of Thirsk, with its James Herriot Museum, provides a selection of shops, market stalls, pubs and restaurants as well as the local racecourse. The historic cities of Ripon and York are within easy reach for shopping excursions or sightseeing.
