Fern Cottage, Thirsk
Fern Cottage has been fully renovated to provide a relaxing and comfortable base from which to explore the local area.
The cottage is situated in a delightful garden at the rear of a late Victorian town house, close to the centre of Thirsk and only a few doors away from the original surgery of James Herriot, Skeldale House. The interior of the cottage is very welcoming and has been furnished to a high standard with stylish, yet comfortable furnishings. The cottage comprises a kitchen / dining room, bathroom, 1 double bedroom and a lounge. Outside is a garden with well stocked borders, and a decked area with seating.
To make your stay even more special we provide every guest with a Welcome Pack of basic groceries which include teabags, coffee, hot chocolate, sugar, milk, bread, butter, jam, cereals and biscuits. Guests also receive a Local Yorkshire Welcome Pack containing a bottle of locally produced ale, chocolates, a voucher for Tea and Biscuits at a local cafe and a momento of Thirsk. Luxurious bathrobes and slippers are also provided for use during your stay.
